Santa’s Magical Kingdom (November 17 – December 23)

Get into the Christmas spirit by checking out Santa’s Magical Kingdom, one of the most exciting Christmas events of the year! This interactive walk-through land offers lots of fun activities including rides and attractions, gingerbread decorating, DIY Christmas tree decorations, and plenty of live performances. Not to mention, the big man himself will be making an appearance!

Christmas Projections (December 1 – 25)

Be enchanted by the stunning lights and colours of Melbourne’s Christmas Projections. Taking place at the State Library, Federation Square, and Docklands beside the water, you can experience the story of Santa and the elves like you’ve never seen it before! These magical Christmas projections bring life to the city, providing an exciting spectacle that’s perfect for the whole family.

Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight (December 24)

Pull up a picnic blanket and settle in for some beautiful Christmas carols at Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight. Featuring talented artists and all your favourite Christmas tunes, this event will be music to your ears. There will also be plenty of delicious eats and drinks on offer at the food vendors on site. Best of all, all funds raised are donated to help children who are blind or have low vision.

Christmas Day Lunch at Melbourne Zoo (December 25)

For a true Melbourne experience, head to Christmas Day Lunch at Melbourne Zoo between 12pm and 3pm.
