Lucio Pizzeria – 248 Palmer St, Darlinghurst
Wood-fired pizza doesn’t get more authentic than this. Lucio Pizzeria is an accredited member of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, so you know they’re the real deal. And having an owner that was born and raised in Naples, home to the best pizza on earth, can only be a good sign!
Their extensive and diverse range of pizzas will have you licking your lips and loosening your belt. With all the traditional Italian flavours to choose from, you’ll feel like you’ve died and gone to Italy!

deVita – 208 Darley Rd, Manly
These guys are passionate about their pizza, calling themselves “true Neapolitans at heart”. They stick to making simple yet delicious pizzas, just how Italy intended.
With the option to choose from round, half and metre-long pizzas, deVita will give every pizzaholic their fill. Don’t miss their Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) pizza with Swiss cheese, gorgonzola cheese, Parmesan cheese, cream, fior di latte cheese and basil. This may sound cheesy, but crust us, it’s delicious!

La Disfida – 109 Ramsay St, Haberfield
If you’re into authentic, thin-crust wood-fired pizza, you’ve come to the right place. La Disfida has a strong focus on fresh ingredients, and their pizzas are cooked on the stone surface of their wood-fired oven.
Their specials change weekly, but if you can, sink your teeth into the Rustica (tomato, mozzarella, pork sausage, hot salame, Spanish onion, roast capsicum) for an explosion of flavour.

Da Orazio – Shop LG09 The Hub 75-79 Hall St, Bondi
Naturally risen over 48 hours, these handmade wood-fired pizzas are deliciously authentic. Offering all the classics and a few unique flavours, Da Orazio has something for everyone.
Go traditional with the Marinara (San Marzano tomato, oregano, Sicilian anchovies, capers, black olives) or take a walk on the wild side with the Tonno (fior di latte, Spanish onions, tuna, capers, green olives, chilli). Whatever you choose, you’ll be left wanting more!
